Alanna Kerr

Alanna is a registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology (Honors Specialization) and a Minor in Health Sciences from The University of Western Ontario. Alanna also graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta.

 

Alanna has previous experience working with children, adults and older adults in hospital, community, and clinical settings. 

Alanna enjoys collaborating with children and their families in order to determine appropriate strategies that can be easily implemented into their daily routine, so they are better able to achieve their goals. Alanna strives to help children participate in their activities of daily living by addressing the following treatment areas:

  • fine motor skills
  • gross motor skills
  • visual perceptual skills
  • social skills
  • sensory processing skills
  • self-regulation skills
  • organization skills
